These scholarships are for high school seniors and high school graduates in Western North Carolina who are pursuing a career in the funeral service industry. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be pursuing post-high school educational studies related to and leading to employment in the funeral service industry. Selection for these scholarships will be based on financial need, good moral character, academic performance/potential, school/community involvement, work experience, and extracurricular activities. Children of employees of the funeral home clients of Asheville Wilbert Vault Service may apply, but members of the family and/or employees of Asheville Wilbert Vault Service are ineligible.
