Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are children of active police officers or fire fighters serving the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, or who are the children of retired or deceased police officers of firefighters who served the City of Reading. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate good citizenship in their school and community. Preference will be given to children of active police and firefighters. This scholarship can be used for a vocational/technical school, trade school, or two- or four-year college/university.
