Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating senior track athletes of Valley District High Schools in Virginia who are planning on participating in track at a four-year college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be nominated by their head coach and must not have been awarded a full scholarship already. One woman and one man from each school will be nominated. Consideration will be given to character, determination, self-motivation, and sportsmanship during competition. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay explaining why they were nominated and are deserving of the award.
