This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who live in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, or attend a Kalamazoo County high school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 3.75 GPA and a 28 ACT or 1240 SAT (1860 three-score equivalent). Applicants must be US citizens/ permanent resident aliens and plan to enroll full-time in an accredited college/university in the fall. Applicants must also demonstrate leadership abilities and commitment to school and community involvement. Preference may be given to applicants who are Asian Indian, attend Portage Public Schools, or attend KAMSC (listed in order of preference), but this is not a requirement for application.
