Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for students from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota, area who have a financial need and who are not normally eligible for such awards because they developed a motivation late in life or after leaving high school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors or have a high-school equivalent degree and plan to enter their first year of higher education at an accredited college, university, vocational, or technical school. Applicants must have a history of at-risk behavior and a growing commitment to lead a responsible, productive life. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of no higher than a B- (2.7 GPA) or a GED regardless of grades received. Previous recipients of the scholarship are eligible to apply for a second award.
