Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for third- and fourth-year law students who wish to advance equal rights and justice for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgendered individuals. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be attending an accredited law school, demonstrate the potential to complete the law program successfully, and be US citizens. Scholarship recipients are expected to give back to the scholarship program and the Portland, Oregon, GLBT community. Note that scholarship funding cannot be used at the University of Portland and not be accepted at Concordia University, as these institutions refuse to sign a sexual orientation and gender identity non-discrimination statement.
