Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are residents of the town of Warwick, New York. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have achieved a minimum 2.5 GPA or equivalent, be enrolled at a postsecondary educational facility and be pursuing a career in the agricultural and/or culinary arts/hospitality field (see scholarship application for a detailed list of eligible fields of study). Winning applicants must agree to attend a Pine Island Chamber of Commerce meeting or event by September 1, 2013 as a guest of the Chamber and speak about their career plans. In addition, applicants must agree to attend and speak at a Pine Island Chamber of Commerce meeting or event after completing their first semester at the post-secondary educational facility.
