This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Texas who plan to major in family and consumer sciences. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been active members of an affiliated chapter of FCCLA for at least one year. Applicants must have an overall high school grade average of 85 and have completed one or more years of family and consumer sciences in high school. Scholarship recipients must enroll at an accredited Texas college in the fall after high school graduation; they must also attend the Texas FCCLA State Leadership Conference in the spring to accept their scholarship.
