This scholarship is for students attending a college or university that is local to the San Francisco Chapter of the CalCPA. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed general college education requirements (usually two years) and have declared accounting as their major or area of concentration in a business degree. Applicants must be enrolled full-time or be enrolled part-time and working, and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher or a 3.25 GPA or higher in accounting courses. Applicants also must be permanent residents or US citizens. Students who already hold a CPA license are ineligible to apply.
