This scholarship is for women in Central Georgia who are non-traditional students. To qualify for this award, applicants must be at least 25 years of age and be enrolled at or accepted to an accredited college, university, or technical institution to pursue a bachelor's degree. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and a demonstrated ability to succeed in an academic environment. Preference will be given to students with financial need who currently reside in and attend postsecondary schools in the Central Georgia region. Applicants will be evaluated on the following: scholastic merit; demonstrated leadership abilities; potential to succeed as indicated by grades; evidence of having overcome adversity; volunteer experience through school, community, or religious organizations; and work experience.
