Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for high school seniors and graduates who live in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, or Washington. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be under the age of 21 and plan to enroll full-time for the first time in an undergraduate program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school for the entire upcoming academic year. Selection is based on academic record, leadership and participation in school/community activities, honors, work experience, goals, unusual personal/family circumstances, financial need, and an outside appraisal. Employees, affiliates, and franchisees of Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., Scholarship America, affiliated agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible. Only the first 1,000 applications from students in eligible states will be considered.
