Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors and current college students who live in Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate or vocational degree at an accredited college, trade, or vocational school. High school seniors must have a 2.0 GPA; current college students must have a 2.5 GPA in order to apply. Selection will be based on financial need; career goals as demonstrated by an essay; overall involvement in community, school, and work activities; and a special essay about the union movement. Scholarship recipients may enroll in school part- or full-time.
