Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for residents of Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, or Geauga counties in Ohio, who are pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled (or plan to enroll and attend), on a full-time basis, an accredited, four-year college or university; or be enrolled in a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) or similar program leading to a commission in the United States armed forces. Applicants must help others, show a significant degree of self-motivation, self-help, initiative, good work ethic and generally embody the entrepreneurial spirit; and be willing to work, save, and pay for a portion of their educational expenses. Applicants must submit a personal statement of up to 600 words that includes a description of their personal history, perspectives, education plans, career goals, and how the scholarship could help meet their goals. Applicants must be US citizens or legal residents with verification-stamped I-551 unexpired.
