This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and current college students in Ventura County, California, or from Los Angeles High School who are planning to pursue a degree in the nursing, medical, or educational field. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be single parents of a minor child or children and be enrolled or intend to enroll in an accredited community college or four-year college or university. Preference will be given to those with financial need, but is not required.
