Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for women who returned to higher education within the past two years after a gap of at least two years. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have graduated from a high school in or have been the recipient of a GED in Ventura County, California, and must be enrolling as candidates for an undergraduate degree or certificate program at an accredited community college or four-year college or university. Applicants also must demonstrate financial need and have a 2.5 GPA. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay that explains their decision to go back to school and describe what they hope to achieve with the degree or certificate.
