This scholarship is for blind and visually impaired students who will be attending college in the fall of 2013. Priority is given to students who reside in Illinois and in the greater Chicago area (southern Wisconsin, northwest Indiana) or who attend school in Illinois. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be visually impaired, legally blind, totally blind, or multi-disabled. All applicants must provide physician documentation supporting one of the above impairments in order to be eligible for consideration of a scholarship award. Scholarship applications may be submitted in print or Braille.
