This scholarship is for high school seniors and undergraduate students who are residents of Indiana. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate academic success with a minimum 2.5 GPA; demonstrate financial need and/or be a first-generation college student (first to enroll in postsecondary education in your immediate family); and enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or junior college or vocational/technical program in the fall of 2013. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents with a valid Alien Registration Receipt Card. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a one page, personal statement essay that addresses the following: "Tell us your life story. Describe any personal challenges you have overcome that developed your character and contributed to your desire to attain your goal of pursuing higher education."
