Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for dependent children age 24 and under of full-time City of Houston employees. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors, high school graduates, or GED holders who plan to enroll for the first time in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year. The applicant's qualifying parent must have at least three years of employment with the City of Houston as of the application date. Scholarship recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA.
