This scholarship is for registered dietitians who are enrolled in a doctoral program in dietetics or dietetics-related field. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens and enrolled in one the following types of doctoral degree programs: doctorate in clinical nutrition (DCN); doctor of research (PhD) or Doctor of Science (ScD or DSc); doctorate in education (EdD); or doctorate in public health (DrPH). Applicants must be admitted or enrolled as full- or part-time students at a US regionally accredited college or university doctoral program whose content has a relationship to dietetics. Applicants must be enrolled for a minimum of four months during the academic year. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to further the dietetics profession through teaching and/or research in the United States and its territories. Membership to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred but not required for doctoral students.
