This scholarship is for high school seniors who are current residents of the following Michigan counties: Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw, or Wayne. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been formally accepted into an accredited community college, college, or university in the state of Michigan. Applicants must be enrolling in a course program to pursue an associate's or bachelor's degree and have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (B average). Applicants do not need to become a member of the credit union in order to win a scholarship. Employees, board members, and relatives of employees and board members at Community Choice Credit Union, the Community Choice Foundation, and their affiliates are not eligible to apply. Relatives are defined as “relatives by blood, marriage or adoption, or any individual living in the same household as the employee, board member, or affiliate."
