This scholarship is for North Carolina students who are studying in the ministry. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduate students or students preparing to enter graduate school. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, financial need, and community service. When selecting the recipients, when all things are equal, preference will be given to: Worthy students who are in need of financial assistance and who have demonstrated their desire for an education by working at school or during vacation periods; students who have resided in Cabarrus County for 10 years, or whose parents have resided in Cabarrus County for 10 years; and students who are attending some North Carolina or southern institution.
