This scholarship is for nontraditional students who are residents of Richland County School District 1 in South Carolina. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have some degree of life and work experience rather than be recently out of high school. Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent; demonstrate financial need; and demonstrate the ability to successfully perform in the academic program they choose. Applicants must attend an eleemosynary institution of higher learning that is a vocational school or a two- or four-year technical junior or senior college accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools or a comparable regional accrediting organization.
