Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are residents of a county in East Texas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to pursue an undergraduate major in biology, mathematics, engineering, or a related field that will allow them to pursue a career as a medical doctor or veterinarian or post-graduate study in biotechnology. Applicants must plan on enrolling as a full-time student at any college or university in the United States or a qualified international exchange program. Applicants must have maintained a high school GPA of 3.0 or better.
