This grant is for unemployed adult students seeking to acquire new or enhanced skills that will permit them to re-enter the labor market. To qualify, applicants must be 18 years of age or older, be high school graduates or GED recipients, be residents of Delaware, be US citizens or eligible non-citizens, be registered with the Department of Labor - Division of Employment and Training (DET), be recommended by a DET Career Counselor, and be ineligible for the Department of Labor's Dislocated Worker Training Program. Applicants must attend a participating adult education center or college. Applications must be submitted through the close of the term or conclusion of the training program for which they are intended.
