Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors who are active, communicant members of Lutheran congregations. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA. Applicants also must have documentation of 25 hours of service to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, volunteer or paid, within the past two years. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must interview two professionals in the field of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (social worker, psychologist, teacher, vocational or rehabilitation specialist, etc.) and submit two 100-word summaries - one for each interview - describing the professional's job and how he or she prepared for that career.
