Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for African American women. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be college sophomores or juniors enrolled in an accredited college or university. Applicants must be majoring in journalism, economics, or a related field (public policy, creative writing, etc), have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale, and be US citizens. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an 1000-word essay on their career plans and their relevance to the theme "Black women's hands can rock the world." Scholarship applications must be submitted online via email.
