Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors and college students who live in Saginaw County, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and be of at least 1/4 Mexican American ancestry. Applicants must plan to pursue a degree in education/teaching part- or full-time at a Michigan college or university. Selection will be based on a special essay; financial need; scholastic record; overall involvement in community, school, and work activities; and awards and honors. In the event of a tie, this scholarship will be awarded to the student with the best essay.
