Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for legal residents of Gaston, Iredell, Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Wilkes County, North Carolina. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate substantial need for financial assistance, be nominated by the superintendent of schools in their county, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Selection for this scholarship will be based on financial need, prior academic achievement, school/community involvement, and personal achievements. Preference is given to students whose parents do not have a college degree.
