Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for residents of Johnson County, Indiana, and members of EAA Chapter 1354. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must graduating high school seniors or college freshman planning a career as a commercial pilot, air transport pilot, in airport administration, or in the field of aeronautical engineering. Applicants must be accepted to pursue a full-time associate or bachelor's degree at one of the following five EAA-approved schools: Purdue University - School of Aviation, Vicennes University, Indiana State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautrical University, or University of Illinois. Applicants must demonstrate the potential to succeed in college and chosen area of study; exhibit good character, and commitment to school and community; and have standardized test scores, GPA, and/or class rank which demonstrate academic preparation and performance.
