Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for African-American high school seniors in Chicago, Illinois, who will attend an accredited institution at a full-time student in the fall of the succeeding school year. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must graduate from high school in the spring of the current school year; have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; and an ACT composite of 18 or higher and/or SAT equivalent. Applicants should exemplify the following: vision of their own potential; commitment to excellence, perseverance, and service; thirst for knowledge, personal growth, and positive societal change; honor and integrity in actions and behaviors; and respect for self, others, and the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
