Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for employees of El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Niguel, California, and their spouses or children. To qualify for this scholarship, employees must: have worked a minimum of 1000 hours per year for at least two years; have graduated from high school or hold a GED; have a minimum 2.5 GPA or average GED score of 500; plan to enroll as full-time students or part-time students (if currently employed) in an accredited college, university or vocational college with the intention of completing a two- or four-year degree program; and submit two letters of recommendation from employees of the club, non-family members, or non-club members. Spouses or children of eligible employees must: have a minimum 2.5 GPA or average GED score of 500; plan to enroll as full-time students in an accredited college, university, or vocational college with the intention of completing a two- or four-year degree program; and submit two letters of recommendation - one from their spouse or parent employed by El Niguel Country Club and one from a non-family member, a non-club member, or an employee of the club.
