Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school students within the school boards where Encana operates in Canada and the United States (Denver, Longmount, and Parachute, Colorado; Coushatta, Louisiana, Dallas/Fort Worth and Fairfield/Teague, Texas; and Pinedale and Riverton, Wyoming). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enter an oil and gas industry-related field, including engineering, geology, or geophysics, at an accredited university or technical institution. Eligible technical or trades programs vary but could include petroleum engineering technology, heavy equipment operator, or surface land administration as examples. Applicants must plan to attend an institution in North America, demonstrate solid academic performance, display community involvement or leadership, and provide proof of acceptance and registration in a qualifying program. Dependents of Encana employees are eligible to apply.
