Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for active employees and immediate dependents of employees of the English Gardens Corporation in Michigan. Full-time and part-time employees must have at least two years of employment with the English Gardens Corporation. Part-time employees must complete a minimum of 500 work hours during the prior year and be active employees at the time of the deadline. Legal custodial dependents of former employees who became disabled or died while still employed at English Gardens are also eligible. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll part- or full-time at an accredited post-secondary, tax-exempt institution, including graduate school. Applicants must demonstrate exemplary leadership and character as evidenced by extracurricular activities and volunteer involvement in the school and/or community, and work experience. Special consideration will be given to students who have overcome specific hardships in order to achieve their personal and educational goals.
