Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for Hispanic residents of Cuyahoga or Lorain County, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or enrolled full-time at a college or university. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA, have taken the SAT or ACT, filed the FAFSA, and participated in extracurricular activities and school or community service. They should also have been born in a Hispanic country or have at least one parent who is fully Hispanic. Applicants must be American citizens or US legal residents who are permanent resident card holders. Scholarship applicants will be evaluated based on their academic achievements, quality of personal statements, recommendation letters, individual interviews, and family income (in general, should be $60,000 or less).
