This scholarship is for Hispanic/Latino students who reside in Pennsylvania and are American citizens or permanent legal non-citizens. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have or receive a high school diploma or a GED; be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits) in a regional postsecondary institution (technical, vocational school, or college/university); demonstrate academic success - a minimum GPA of 2.75 is required for high school seniors, a 3.0 GPA is required for college students, and GED recipients must score at least 2,925 points or above. Both traditional and non-traditional students are eligible. Scholarship recipients are required to contribute eight hours of volunteer service with EsUP, preferably in July.
