Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for the following individuals: students of Latino/Hispanic descent who live on the Southwest side of Chicago between 16th to 79th streets and between Cicero Avenue (4800 West) and Canal (500 West); or volunteers at Pilsen Neighbors Community Council; or members of the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or current college students accepted or enrolled at an accredited college or university in an undergraduate degree-seeking or certificate program. Applicants must have earned a cumulative minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need and community or school service. Current college students must be enrolled for a minimum of at least 6 semester hours or its equivalence.
