Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for minority students who are enrolled in a broadcast-oriented curriculum (radio, television, marketing, or broadcast technology). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be at least sophomores at a four-year college or university, community college (transferable to a four-year bachelor's degree program), or vocational technical school. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and provide proof of citizenship. For applicants who are permanent residents of the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana, tuition may be applied to an out-of-state school. For applicants who are not permanent residents of the above-mentioned states, tuition must be applied to a school in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana. Scholarships will be awarded based on need, academic achievement, and personal qualities.
