This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who attend school in the following North Texas counties: Anderson, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Cooke, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Freestone, Henderson, Hill, Hood, Hopkins, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rains, Red River, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, Van Zandt, Wise, and Grayson. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited community college or four-year university and demonstrate consistent, active participation in public and/or community service activities. University-bound students must meet at least three of the following minimum requirements: Minimum SAT Score: 1050; Minimum ACT Score: 20, Minimum GPA: 3.0, Honors/Dual Credit Classes: 5. Community college-bound students must meet all the following minimum requirements: Minimum GPA: 2.8, Class Rank: Top 25%, Honors/Dual Credit Classes: 3. Preference will be given to students pursuing STEM fields.
