This scholarship is for students of public high schools in Montgomery County, Indiana. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend a college or university in the state of Indiana. Applicants must have completed a minimum of seven semesters or eleven trimesters by the application deadline. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement and financial need. Community, school, and volunteer activities will also be taken into consideration. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a 300-word essay on the following topic: "Describe the most challenging obstacle that you have overcome; discuss its impact on you and tell what you have learned from the experience." and answer the following question in 100-words: "What are your educational goals for the future and how do you plan to achieve these goals" and "Why should the selection committee select you to receive this scholarship?"
