This scholarship is for students graduating from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Rivendell Academy in Orford, Mascoma Valley Regional High School in Canaan, or Woodsville High School in Woodsville, New Hampshire. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution, including vocational or technical schools, community colleges, or four-year colleges or universities. Awards will not be made for graduate study. Preference will be given to students whose family’s financial situation might otherwise prevent them from attending the school of their choice and to those who will be the first in their family to attend college. Academic excellence is not required, although reasonable academic performance is expected. Other factors that will be evaluated include participation in school and community activities, volunteer or paid work experience, and a proven drive to succeed in a chosen field.
