This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Franklin Community High School in Franklin, Indiana; and past Rotary scholars entering their senior year of college. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a record of community service; have an academic record that reflects potential or actual college academic success; and have a record of extracurricular activity involvement. Preference will be given to students that interact with the Rotary sponsored service club at Franklin Community High School and students planning to attend Franklin College. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a one-page essay on the following topic: "The motto of Rotary International is 'Service Above Self.' Please identify examples in your life where you have applied this principle."
