Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for nursing students who have been accepted at an accredited school of nursing or have an acceptance pending for Fall of 2012. Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic record, character, leadership qualities, participation in student and community activities, and personal interviews. The scholarships include all costs associated with fulfilling the requirements of a nursing degree. In return, the recipients agree to work at West Georgia Health in LaGrange, Georgia, for one to two years after they graduate, depending upon the duration of the scholarship. West Georgia Health serves the areas of western Georgia and eastern Alabama.
