Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who live in the town of Salisbury, Connecticut. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university, vocational-technical, or professional institute in the United States. Being awarded this scholarship should have a significant financial impact for the recipient. Selection will be based on academic achievement and potential, significance (especially financial) of the scholarship to the recipient, demonstration of motivation in pursuing a two- or four-year degree or certificate, and evidence of community service. Preference will be given to students who are residents of Sarum Village, East Meadow Homeowners’ Association, Faith House, Salisbury Housing Trust-built or renovated properties, or Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Connecticut-built or renovated properties in the Town of Salisbury.
