This scholarship is for undergraduate juniors and seniors and graduate students who are pursuing short-term research projects that focus on German affairs. To qualify for this scholarship, undergraduate students must be pursuing a German Studies track and be nominated for the grant by their department and/or program chair. Applicants must have completed two years of college German and a minimum of three courses in German Studies (literature, history, politics or other fields) at the time of nomination. Grant recipients may undertake one to two months of research in Germany or North America. Candidates must be US or Canadian citizens and must be enrolled full-time at the college/university that nominates them.
