Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors, high school graduates/GED holders, and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Alaska Natives. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be Alaska Native shareholders or descendants (may be adopted) of the Koniag Region, which includes Kodiak Island and the Kodiak Archipelago. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and be accepted to or enrolled at an accredited college, university, or vocational school. They must also demonstrate continued community service or civic duty. Finally, candidates must be enrolled in or join the Koniag, Inc. descendent or shareholder database.
