Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduates of Whiteland Community High School in Whiteland, Indiana. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must intend to pursue a two- or four-year degree on a full-time basis at any accredited college or university. Applicants must demonstrate participation in community activities such as 4-H or other service clubs; be deemed worthy or deserving by the committee for this award by virtue of character, leadership traits, peer mentoring, and role model to others; be highly motivated and possess a passion/respect for life; and demonstrate academic preparation and potential for success in college and the chosen area of study. GPA and class rank will be considered, however they are of lesser importance than the other criteria. Preference is given to members of an organized sport and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
