Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors of Hispanic heritage who permanently reside in one of the following metropolitan locations: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington, D.C. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four-year accredited US institution in the United States, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, or Guam during the 2013-2014 academic year. Applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA, be US citizens or legal permanent residents, and apply for federal financial aid by completing the FAFSA. Scholarship winners must be willing to participate in a one-year retention program during the 2013-2014 academic year.
