This scholarship is for full-time teachers who teach in a primary or secondary public or private school located within the Independence, Missouri city limits. This scholarship is meant to help pay for classroom materials, resources, and courses. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write a one-page rationale for the request, which includes the following criteria: how this grant would affect your students and the community; details of the cost of your plan; relevance to the subject taught; and relevance of the project to current issues in education.
