Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for graduating seniors who attend a public high school in the 29-county western North Carolina region. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to attend a four-year North Carolina college/university. In addition, students with permanent homes with the 29-county WNC region who attend the NC School of Science and Mathematics, the UNC School of the Arts High School, or a homeschool registered with the NC Department of Non-Public Education may apply if they will attend a North Carolina four-year college or university. Applicants will be evaluated on financial need, academic ability/achievement, good moral character, community service, extracurricular activities, and work experience.
