Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for residents of Lorain County, Ohio, who are pursuing literary or journalism studies. The scholarship application requires three writing samples in any combination of prose (300 words or less), poetry (300 words or less), articles (500 words or less), or short stories (1,000 words or less). Inspirational or motivational themes are suggested. Special consideration is given to older adult learners. Note: All samples submitted become the property of the Community Foundation of Lorain County and will not be returned to sender.
